Verstilling<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De tentoonstelling “Verstilling” is 2 maanden te zien in In Observant vanaf 2 februari 2026- 28-02-2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Observant tonen twee fotografen hoe natuur, tijd en stilte ons perspectief kunnen verschuiven. Vanuit verschillende achtergronden en werkwijzen zoeken zij naar momenten van vertraging, verwondering en observatie.
De ene blik richt zich op de grootsheid van landschappen en kosmische tijdschalen, waarin mens en natuur onderdeel zijn van \u00e9\u00e9n groter geheel. De andere zoomt juist in op de kleine, stille momenten in het landschap, waar rust zichtbaar wordt voor wie de tijd neemt om te kijken.Samen vormen de werken een uitnodiging tot verstilling: even loskomen van de waan van de dag en opnieuw ervaren hoe natuur ons kan relativeren, verbinden en tot aandacht brengen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacco Geul<\/strong>
Jacco is ruimtevaartwetenschapper en amateurfotograaf. Sinds 2021
woont hij in Doorn, na zijn vertrek uit de drukke Randstad om dichter bij de natuur te leven.
In 2024 sloot hij zich aan bij de Amersfoortse Fotogroep deeez!.
De schalen van ruimte en tijd in de natuur zijn fenomenaal en maken de mens nederig. In
dat perspectief wordt de mens \u2013 en de waan van de dag \u2013 weer klein. Deze fotoserie
probeert dat gevoel van ontzag en schoonheid te vangen. De beelden tonen landschappen
en natuur in Utah, vastgelegd in 2023.
De foto\u2019s brengen drie elementen samen. Ten eerste de dramatische landschappen,
gevormd over immense geologische tijd, waarin miljoenen jaren van verandering zichtbaar
worden: ruw en groots, maar ook kwetsbaar en vreemd van vorm. Ten tweede de
weersfenomenen, ontstaan uit chaotische en complexe processen: dynamisch en vluchtig.
En ten slotte de fauna en de mensen \u2013 bewoners en bezoekers \u2013 als observanten van deze
omgeving, die er betekenis aan geven.
Alle drie zijn \u00e9\u00e9n en hetzelfde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koen Kallenberg<\/strong>
Koen is een Amersfoortse fotograaf die graag naar buiten trekt om de rust te vinden die de natuur te bieden heeft. In een tijd waarin stilte schaars is, groeit zijn verlangen naar verstilde momenten. Met zijn camera probeert hij de schoonheid van die kalmte vast te leggen.
Hij werkt zowel analoog als digitaal. Die combinatie is voor hem essentieel: analoge fotografie dwingt tot vertraging en aandacht, tot bewust kiezen wat het vastleggen waard is. Digitale fotografie geeft juist de vrijheid om direct te reageren op wat zich aandient. Samen bieden deze vormen hem verschillende manieren om naar de natuur te kijken.
Met zijn werk hoopt Koen de rust te delen die hij zelf ervaart tijdens het fotograferen. Het gaat hem niet om spectaculaire landschappen, maar om de kleine, stille momenten die pas zichtbaar worden wanneer je de tijd neemt om echt te kijken en te luisteren.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
